Loot Crate Review: July's HEROES 2 Crate Unboxing

7/29/2015

Loot Crate first arrived in my mailbox in April with the FANTASY themed crate. I played queen for a day with the crown, filled the direwolf flash drive in a few weeks, put the Game of Thrones magnets up that day, and I simply adore the bowtie. April was a great month for nerds willing to spend money for a box of mystery items.

July's HEROES 2 crate did not disappoint.

Before we get to the rest of July's, here's some background.

I never received May's for some reason, even though I had a one-month recurring subscription.

June's CYBER crate was absolutely marvelous. I love my Transformers shirt and my mousepad,

The half scale endo skull is so sick and looks freakin' awesome on my desk.

With this continuing feeling of satisfaction, I wanted more.

For my 22 birthday on July 21, I decided to purchase myself a six-month subscription and so far I've been very satisfied with it.

The July HEROES 2 crate has some pretty exciting items.

There was, unfortunately, no shirt, which always makes for a sad Hannah. Although, the awesome bombshell Wonder Woman poster almost made up for it. It's badass and has amazing art work. I can't wait to hang it up. Thanks for the inspiration, Loot Crate!

This should have been a shirt and I would have worn it everywhere.

Wonder Woman can do everything. I aspire to be her.
The Spock air freshener? Perfect. It smells like logic (vanilla) and looks great in my car.

Live long and don't have a smelly car.

The League of Regrettable Superheroes is insanely interesting and informational. 10/10 would recommend. I always love adding to my literature collection.

I adore the Batman Q-Pop figure. He's on my Loot Crate box, protecting the city of Hannah's Library from evildoers and naysayers. I love him.

It looks like the zombie on the dart board is reaching for him.

The Loot Crate boxes always have entertaining art.
LET'S TALK ABOUT THIS BATMAN KEY CHAIN BOTTLE OPENER/SCREWDRIVER/GREATEST AND MOST BADASS TOOL. Creepy guys on the mean streets of Linden, beware. I have a weapon and it works better with the blood of my enemies.

I can feel beer bottles trembling, knowing I'm coming after them with this.
The only items I'm probably not going to use are the Zelda sweatband and the Brawlhalla game. Seriously, Loot Crate? A sweatband? Are you trying to tell nerds they need to work out more? In all seriousness, I'm not John Cena so this item is useless to me, even though Zelda is marvelous.

The reason I'm probably not going to play Brawlhalla is because I am a busy lady and when I want to play video games, I play either Zelda or Assassin's Creed. They trump White Fang every time.

All in all, I love the crate. There's something very exciting about paying money for mystery objects to show up at your door, and Loot Crate rarely disappoints.

Great job, Loot Crate! I can't wait for August's VILLAINS crate!

PS I still want that Wonder Woman bombshell shirt.
