I love journalism. The idea of being a gate-keeper for the news of the world is addictive and wildly entertaining.
On this page, I will post links to my favorite articles I've written for Tri-County Times, the Western Herald, HerCampus, and HBOWatch. I love writing about controversial issues, books, T.V. shows, odd experiences, and special happenings.

I was the A&E Editor of the Western Herald, Western Michigan University's newspaper for the 2014-2015 school year. I started as a freelance writer fall 2013, and was promoted to an hourly reporter spring 2014.
Reporting for the Western Herald was the best learning experience of my undergraduate career. I've learned about communication through interviewing, journalistic writing, AP style, the workings of a newspaper, video making, slide-shows, and many more useful tools. Profiles and features are my favorite articles to write.

HBOWatch
HBOWatch is the medium I utilize when I want to talk about my favorite series, Game of Thrones. Having read all the books and watched every season, I love to blog about the series. I haven't had anything published on HBOWatch in a while, but when Game of Thrones season four premieres spring of 2014, more of my articles will be posted.
Here is my favorite article I've written for HBOWatch:
